In case you were living under a rock last March and didn't hear about this: Ranger Hollweg executed a clean block on Islander Simon and Simon retaliated by winding up and hitting Hollweg in the face... with his stick. Simon claims he got a concussion from the clean Hollweg check that made him temporarily lose his mind and has since apologized to Hollweg for the incident. He definitely shouldn't be playing this season at least after the Hollweg and Ruutu incidents. Unfortunately, he was allowed to return and the Wild decided to trade for him. Great call, Minnesota.
After he did this to hollweg and what he did this year trying to kick someone with his skate blade, how is this guy still allowed to play in the league?
